Itinerary

In this experience you will plunge into the beautiful world of AQWA’s shipwreck coast aquarium and come face to fin with giant sharks, stingrays, turtles and hundreds of stunning fish!

Keen snorkellers aged 14+ can participate and there is a maximum of 4 people per session in this adventure.

Your experience begins by meeting at AQWA's main entrance and presenting to reception staff. Here you will complete a waiver and meet your Dive Instructor. You will then be taken for a safety brief and be fitted for your equipment, before you enter the water for a fully-guided snorkel.

On completion you will have the opportunity to shower and change before browsing the aquarium at your leisure. Your ticket includes all-day general admission to the aquarium.

This was a surprise for my wifes 40th birthday. I don't generally do water so I elected to stay dry and wander the tunnel while she got in the tank and did the approx 35 minute swim. She was VERY worried the day prior and still very nervous when she got there. All she needed to bring was a towel and bathers - snorkel, flippers, wet suit all included in the price She had a ball - plenty of the animals came up close and were quite inquisitive of the divers. It was a small group - 3 paying swimmers and 2 'guides' so there was plenty of support for all. Despite my trepidation my wife thinks i could totally have a go at this as the wet suits are very buoyant and combined with the current in the tank you dont need to be a super strong swimmer Highly recommended by her!

My 15 year old loved this as her birthday surprise she enjoyed snorkeling with all the sea creatures and now wants to do the scuba one. The only thing Ii would like to see change is having to pay for everyone to watch her was very expensive with the cost of the adventure and then entry for friends. ( who only wanted to watch my daughter)

First of all I want to thank a special staff at the front counter name Sarah who made my sons birthday present a special day. It was so busy like every school holidays and the line was full of family, over excited kids over tired parents and adults. Sarah helped us lut when our booking didn't go through and was was stressing because my son had dreamed for the past 2 years to be old enough to swim with the sharks. Sarah was so professional amd absolutely calm and had a smile on her face the whole entire time not only with me but the whole time we sat for about 30 minutes waiting for the scrubber instructor, Sarah had smiled amd greated every single person professionally. I have worked in Hospitality for over 30 years and customer service is very important to me as you are the face of the company and Sarah was definitely made you feel comfortable and was one out of many who always made sure each person no matter they were feel calmed.. Also the lovely lady working next to her.. im sorry I didn't get your name but thank you for trying to help us out and moving us to Sarah.. you too were amazing too.. Sarah got us a spot lucky there was one spot left and got my son in to swim with the fishes and sharks. A family behind us was getting frustrated and Sarah calmly said she was doing the best she can and made us feel at ease by not hurrying and said "don't worry i will help you out" .. so I just want to say Thanknyou Sarah for making ever single person in line who i witnessed waiting for my son instructor.. parents we frustrated but after talking to Sarah every parent seem relived and could continue with their tribe into the centre. Sarah if you read this. keep up with your professionalism your amazing. I cant thank you enough for making my sons birthday a awesome one. you and the lovely lady are definitely the face of AQWA ... Also a shout out to the other Staff who in the Chaos work so hard and were all approachable and service with a smile. You all definitely need a pay rise or a bloody amazing Christmas party... xx

Excellent experience staff were amazing . Now I’m going back with the whole family Birthday gift and it was well worth it .
