Visitors experience authentic rural living at Magpie Springs. A working vineyard with an unusual rustic quality, the Gallery and Cellar door is relaxed and natural. It is one of the first vineyards planted in the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges an Adelaide Hills Wine Region. We grow all of the fruit for our wine. The vineyard produces premium fruits of Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc available for tasting in the cellar door.
The Gallery shows original works by recognized artists painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. Avril Thomas is the artist in residence. Her work is displayed in private and corporate collections nationally and internationally
The grounds have naturally beautiful vistas with gums, vines and dams perfect for artistic workshops. Enjoy wonderful birdlife and tranquil vistas - a place for the whole family.
The grounds are also open for - weddings, parties, corporate gatherings. Southern Boulder - a bouldering/ climbing wall suitable for all ages - have a go or use it as a gym.
